What I feared has finally happened…I’ve become to busy to blog. No! *cues screaming* My posts have been kept on queue for so long that they’ve become obsolete, and I’ve been traveling more than writing. Now, traveling is fun – but I like blogging too. I should reinstall that WordPress app on my phone again so I can blog on the go.
Anyway, here is a mishmash of photos from the past few weeks. I’ll do smaller photo sets in the future as I travel so I won’t have to wait ’til I reach ground zero to write about them.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy my post! Have fun reading. 🙂
- A Quick Stopover at Banaue
My colleagues and I had a training to facilitate in Santiago, Isabela. While we were there, some of the locals told us that there was a shortcut we could take to Banaue. Being the avid road trip fans that we were, we woke up at 3 in the morning the next day to embark on our Banaue misadventure. It was worth it, though – we got to see the sun rise over the rice terraces and enjoy the cool, breezy weather.
2. Santiago, Isabela
We stayed at Sunshine Wave Resort for a week and it was nice because we had the pools all to ourselves. Pretty standard in terms of accommodation and pools though. Here’s my little travel buddy, Venice, posing with a statue of vampire Stitch.
3. One of Our Many Twinnie Date Photos
My boyfriend and I used to write long, photo heavy posts whenever we went out on a date or went somewhere, but we’ve been doing that too frequently lately. So here are some photos instead. 😛
4. Making Teru-teru Bozo
These are rain dolls that you’re supposed to hang up when the weather is horrible. We made them with a pillow case, some thread, Ping-Pong balls, a Sharpie and box cutters.
5. I Found Out I Can Get All My Favourite Drinks in Soy-Based Form
Pic from one of our most recent dates. This is a chocolate chip muffin and a soy-based, no-whip green tea ice blended drink. Drinking/consuming dairy gives me acid pain, so I’m happy that I can get my favourite drinks without risking a stomach ache.
6. I Cut My Hair Again
A straight, full fringe makes me look like I’m a child. Don’t worry, I’m black to sweeping my fringe to the sides.
8. Even More Date Photos
Just deal with it. HAHAHA.
9. Xiao Long Bao at Last!
JM and I have been craving xiao long bao for such a long time, and we’ve finally found a place to eat it. All the others we’ve tried either discontinued XLB or didn’t have it that day. The restaurant is called The Dimsum Place, and we ate lunch there before watching Captain America : Civil War.
10. My Boyfriend is Awesome
He gave me Lime Crime Velvetines lipstick, as I mentioned in a previous post. Here I am wearing it! It’s too bright I guess? But I think it looks nice on me. JM as told me I’m only allowed to wear it when he’s around, though. 😛
11. That Height Difference Though
Here we are at the arcade. I think we were waiting in line when JM snapped this pic? Anyway, he’s a full head taller than me, which makes it possible for us to pose like this all the time. I look sleepy, as always. *yawns*
12. I Made My Own Phone Case
Because Oppo is horrible at making cute cases. I drew Suzuya Juuzou from Tokyo Ghoul!
And here’s the abrupt ending for my post. Don’t worry, I’ve reinstalled the WordPress app and I’ll be able to update more frequently. Next up: boyfriend’s graduation and meet-the-parents episode. Stay tuned! 😛
